Hello! I’m Michi, an otaku who loves Japanese media!

As an otaku, my primary interests include anime, manga, Japanese games, and all aspects of Japanese pop culture. Therefore, I have multiple fandoms and love discussing my various interests.

My main interests are BL, yuri, JRPGs, bishoujo/moe genres, joseimuke media, VTubers (occasionally!), and otaku culture. I speak both English and Indonesian, and as an old-school fandom fannish, my tastes and etiquette often align more with older fandom culture than modern trends. That said, I’ve been wanting to broaden my horizons lately—exploring other subcultures, interests, and even non-Japanese media!

I’m also a proud pervert who enjoys adult content (R18, eroge, ecchi, gravure, etc.), dead dove themes, transgressive media, and even some problematic fetishes, albeit my preferences still lean relatively vanilla ww. At the end of the day, I’m just your average otaku, fujoshi, and yuriota—mostly rambling about my interests and usual fan katsudo (fannish activity).

That said, I can be very opinionated and might comment on discourse, squicks, or personal views. I try to tone it down and avoid overdoing it (though sometimes it slips). I hope you won’t take it personally if I happen to criticize something you likes....

As an old-school otaku, I might use outdated terms or follow older fandom etiquette, so I may not always vibe with younger fans n_n. And having been in Asian fandom spaces for so long, my behavior and mindset are also shaped by those communities, which sometimes clashes with Western fandom norms....So I hope you can be open-minded about it.

Still, feel free to interact with me! I’m always happy to meet new friends, especially those who share my interests. Some people find me intimidating because I’m blunt and upfront, but in reality, I’m actually quite shy with new people wwww. I’m just… very honest about my boundaries, I guess?

I don’t have "DNI" lists, and I don't think I can control who follows or interacts with me. However, I do curate my space aggressively and won’t hesitate to block ragebaiters, drama-seekers, bigots, fancops, or anyone who disrupts my safe space. It’s nothing personal—I just prioritize my comfort.
